ABOUT THIS COVER
Collector factsCover art by Kentaro Miura, who painted or drew each of the first forty-one Berserk covers.
This is the current Young Animal Comics edition (Hakusensha). The cover art was created for the June 2016 renewal, when Hakusensha renamed its Jets Comics label Young Animal Comics and reissued the first thirty-seven volumes with new covers. The volume itself was first released 29 May 2001.
Like every current cover it sits inside the same stone frame with the volume number at the upper right — a single design system laid over thirty years of very different paintings — and the cover credit is Miura's name alone.
This page shows the best verified scan held for this cover, 476 × 678 pixels. It is displayed no larger than that native size, and the magnifier zooms only up to 100% of the scan — never past it, never upscaled.
