Black Clover's second season: the return
Announced at Anime Expo in July 2025, and back on October 3, 2026: exactly nine years after the first premiere.
The return was announced on the Anime Expo stage in July 2025, while the manga was still finishing its Jump Giga run. When the second season premiered on October 3, 2026, nine years to the day after season one opened, the manga had been complete for five months, so the anime now adapts a story with a known ending. Ayataka Tanemura, who directed the last eighteen episodes of the first run and the film, directs the season; series composition is by Keiichirō Ōchi.
This page was built while the season was still airing, four episodes in at the end of October 2026, so it makes no claim about the season's final length. The first run's shape is documented on the 170-episode page.
