Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (リンクの冒険) — NES, United States, Nintendo of America, 1988. US December 1, 1988. From Famicom & NES years in the Zelda Games Gallery.

Gold cartridge, continuing the Zelda 1 US presentation. Wikipedia notes the 1988 ROM-chip shortage delayed Nintendo's schedule, Zelda II among the affected titles — context for its late-1988 US arrival almost two years after Japan.

A later grey-cartridge Classic Series-style reissue exists in North America (BoardGameGeek/Moby release listings note a 1992 grey-cart edition) — do not census the gold-cart box as the only US box.
