What are Claymore's Extra Scenes?
Four side stories that bridged a dead magazine, and a fifth that has never been collected.
When Monthly Shonen Jump folded in June 2007, Claymore kept its readers with four self-contained chapters in Weekly Shonen Jump, published monthly from July to October 2007. Shueisha called them Extra Scenes: prequels and backstories that needed no place in the main chronology. They were later collected in volumes 13 and 14, the only Claymore chapters most readers own without knowing their odd origin.

THE FIFTH
Warriors Dawn · uncollectedThe one that got away
A fifth Extra Scene, Warriors Dawn, appeared in Jump Square after the main run and has never been gathered into a tankobon. It is the only chapter of Claymore that exists only in a magazine, which makes the magazine itself the collectible.
