What are the Boku to Tomodachi Mother plush?

Boku to Tomodachi, Me and My Friends, is Hobonichi MOTHER Project's character plush line, sold as complete party sets rather than singles. The first set, released May 25, 2022, gathers EarthBound's Chosen Four: Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo, at ¥11,000 (about $86 at the time). It sold out and was re-released in February 2023.

The Mother 3 set followed on April 25, 2024: Lucas, Claus, Duster and Kumatora, the second game's family answered by the third game's, completing the playable parties of the two sprite-era sequels in matching style.

The line's discipline is its collectibility: fixed rosters, fixed windows, restocks treated as events. Hobonichi sells the sets the way it sells its books, in announced waves through the MOTHER Project shop, and the secondary market prices the gaps between waves.

Beside the Mr. Saturn plushes and the Master Belch, the Boku to Tomodachi sets form the soft half of the modern Mother shelf: the characters at last in a form the 1990s, which gave them clay and print, never did.
