The Black Clover Manga Gallery

Thirty-eight volumes, eleven years, one unbroken run of covers drawn by Yūki Tabata.

This is the paper shelf: every Japanese tankōbon volume of Black Clover, documented volume by volume from June 4, 2015 to August 4, 2026. Covers are pictured where they could be verified from an opened source, and every volume is documented in text with its release date and ISBN either way.

The series began in Weekly Shōnen Jump and finished in Jump Giga; the books kept the same Jump Comics dress across both eras. The story of the move is told on the magazine transfer page.

THE GRIMOIRE SYSTEM

How the covers talk to each other
Back covers as grimoires
Each volume's back cover is designed as a grimoire, the spell book every mage in the story receives. The books dress themselves as objects from their own world.
The spine tells you the owner
The character printed on a volume's spine is the owner of the grimoire shown on the NEXT volume's back cover. Read the shelf in order and the spines hand the books to each other.
Volume 23 breaks the pattern
Volume 23's spine goes back to Asta's grimoire from volume 1, a deliberate break point in the story. From volume 24 on, the spine character owns that same volume's grimoire instead.
The slowing shelf
The Weekly Shōnen Jump era produced books at a near quarterly pace. In the Jump Giga era the shelf slowed: volume 36 in February 2024, volume 37 in September 2025, and the final volume 38 on August 4, 2026.
