How many episodes of the Solo Leveling anime are there?

The anime was announced at Anime Expo 2022 and produced by A-1 Pictures, with Shunsuke Nakashige directing, Noboru Kimura writing, Tomoko Sudo designing the characters and Hiroyuki Sawano composing the score. Season one ran for 12 episodes from January 2024, taking Jinwoo from the double dungeon to his job change. A compilation film, Solo Leveling: ReAwakening, recut the season with a preview of the next, screening in Japan from November 29 to December 12, 2024 and in North America from December 6, 2024.

Season two, subtitled Arise from the Shadow, ran 13 episodes from January 5 to March 30, 2025, ending with the Jeju Island raid. The two seasons together cover roughly the first half of the webtoon, and they adapt Dubu's comic rather than Chugong's prose, which is why the anime's staging so often mirrors his panels.

The physical releases came in the usual two waves. Japan sold multi-volume Blu-ray and DVD sets for both seasons, with newly drawn jacket art, season two's second volume arriving June 25, 2025. In North America, Crunchyroll released season one on Blu-ray on July 22, 2025, its limited edition adding a 68-page art book, and season two followed on March 17, 2026 in standard and limited editions.
