How Many Langrisser Games Are There?
Five numbered games. Then the count gets interesting, and the honest answer depends on what you count.
The spine of the series is short: Langrisser I to V, released between 1991 and 1998 for the Mega Drive and Saturn, all by Masaya and Team Career (later Career Soft). Around that spine sits everything else the name has carried: a second developer’s sequels, a cancelled MMO, a 3DS revival, a shelf of compilations and remakes, and a mobile game that has now been running longer than the classic series did.
Counted strictly, there are five main games, four further console and PC titles, five compilations or full remakes, and one living mobile game, with roots in a 1987 PC trilogy. The full ledger follows.

THE OTHER GAMES

Langrisser Tri-Swords · 2012
A Korean-developed PC game, the first new Langrisser of the rights era after NCS.

A PC MMO that never launched. The census counts it because its cancellation is part of the record.
Re:Incarnation Tensei · 2015
Nintendo 3DS. A simplified revival, localized by Aksys in 2016 to a rough reception, but historically important: the drought-breaker.
