How many One-Punch Man books are there?

Thirty-seven Japanese volumes, thirty-four in English, and one very long online tail.

The count depends on which edition you mean. In Japan, One-Punch Man stood at 37 tankobon on July 3, 2026, the day volume 37 went on sale, and volume 38 is already listed for December 4, 2026. In English, Viz Media had published 34 volumes by September 2026, roughly three volumes behind the Japanese run.

THE COUNTS THAT MATTER

Books, chapters, copies
The launch oddity
The series began in print with two volumes on one day: volumes 1 and 2 both carry the release date December 4, 2012. Any shelf of first editions starts with a pair.
Chapters inside the books
The remake’s online edition passed 246 chapters in October 2026, but the collected volumes hold fewer chapter slots, because chapters are merged, split, and redrawn between the site and the shelf. Chapter counts from the internet will never match a book spine, and both are correct.
Bundled extras
Early volumes carried media: volume 9 shipped with a radio drama CD in 2015, and volume 10 bundled the original anime episode Road to Hero on December 4, 2015. These bundle editions are distinct objects from the standard printings.
Copies in the world
Total circulation reached 38 million copies by July 2026, up from 30 million in April 2020. The series was the ninth best-selling manga of 2016 and the eighth of 2017, years after its debut.
