Link's Awakening DX

Link's Awakening DX (ゼルダの伝説 夢を見る島DX) — Game Boy Color, Japan, Nintendo, 1998. JP December 12, 1998. From Super Famicom & Game Boy in the Zelda Games Gallery.

DX is a Game Boy Color edition, but the cartridge code still begins DMG- (not CGB-) — a useful authenticity/identity check that surprises collectors expecting a CGB code. Adds colour, Game Boy Printer photo feature, and the exclusive Color Dungeon over the 1993 original.

A Nintendo Power (flash-cart service) JP reissue of DX is also listed by GameFAQs (March 1, 2000, same code) — that is a service distribution, not a second retail box.
