What figures does Capcom itself make for Monster Hunter?
Capcom runs its own statue studio for the series, and its catalogue is a second bestiary: nearly every monster, twice, at two sizes.
The official range is Capcom Figure Builder (CFB), and its flagship line is the Creators Model: non-scale, fully painted statues sculpted under named artists, priced in the premium band of roughly $100 to $160 at release. The roster reads as a hall of fame: Rathalos and Rathian, Tigrex, Zinogre, Lagiacrus, Brachydios, Gore and Shagaru Magala, the Fated Four’s Glavenus and Mizutsune, Magnamalo, Nergigante, Alatreon, Malzeno, and Wilds’ Rey Dau and Nu Udra, with popular pieces returning as labelled Re-Production runs.
Below the statues sits Standard Model Plus, palm-sized blind-box miniatures issued in waves that now span the entire series history, from the first game’s monsters to Wilds’, at roughly $10 to $15 a box: the democratic end of the line, and a collecting hobby in itself. Around both orbit Capcom’s plush ranges and the amiibo produced for Stories and Rise, Magnamalo’s among them.
