Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Gets Its Definitive Physical Edition on Switch 2

SEGA released Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, Nintendo Switch 2 Edition on October 29, 2026, with 60 FPS and upgraded visuals over the original release.
Owners of the Switch version are looked after: the upgrade is free via an eShop pass, so nobody has to buy the game twice to play the better version.
The physical edition is the one that matters here. At $59.99, the boxed Switch 2 release includes the Infinity Castle Character Pass, folding the add-on content into the purchase instead of leaving it as a separate download.
SEGA also announced the two Hinokami Chronicles games have passed six million units sold combined, which is the scale context: this is not a niche experiment, it is one of the biggest anime game lines running.
A complete physical Switch 2 edition bundling the character pass is the definitive Demon Slayer game package, and definitive packages are what collectors shelve. Six million units across the series says the audience for a best-version physical copy is very large.
