Evangelion Takes Over Hard Rock Cafe Japan, and the Pins Are Limited to 500

Khara and Hard Rock Cafe Japan's first-ever Evangelion collaboration went on sale November 3, 2026, at six Japanese locations. The artwork uses the original series versions of Shinji, Rei, and Asuka, with an EVA-01 Hard Rock logo built for the collaboration.
The line, in Japanese prices: T-shirts at ¥9,570 (~$61), a sukajan jacket at ¥66,000 (~$418), a cap at ¥5,940 (~$38), magnets at ¥3,080 (~$19), and shot glasses at ¥1,980 (~$13), the glasses following in mid-November.
The pins are the sharp end of it. They cost ¥3,080 (~$19), each design is specific to one location, and each is limited to 500 pieces. A full set means six locations and six sellouts.
Numbered scarcity plus location exclusivity is exactly the recipe that feeds the import collector market. These are Japan-only, walk-in-only, 500-per-design objects wearing one of the most collected licenses in anime. Whatever the retail price says, the collector price gets decided by how many of the 500 ever leave Japan.
