What are the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle films?

The manga's final arcs are being adapted as a trilogy of Ufotable cinema films under the Infinity Castle banner, with the first film released in Japan in July 2025.

Demon Slayer's ending is arriving as cinema. Rather than a final television season, Ufotable and the production committee announced the Infinity Castle arc, the manga's climactic campaign inside Muzan's shifting fortress, as a trilogy of theatrical films, following the commercial logic that Mugen Train established and that this Library documents in its finale trilogy page.

The first film, covering the opening battles of the castle assault, opened in Japan in July 2025 and internationally in the weeks after, becoming one of the year's biggest releases and confirming that the audience built by television would follow the story into cinemas for its ending. The remaining films continue the castle battles and the final confrontation above ground, completing Gotouge's 23 volume story on screen for the first time.

Structurally the trilogy asks more of viewers than Mugen Train did. It assumes knowledge of four television seasons, it splits a continuous battle across films released years apart, and its middle chapters are the manga's darkest. That confidence is itself a measure of the franchise's position: no other manga adaptation of its generation has been permitted to end this way.

For physical media collectors the trilogy resets the shelf. Japanese limited edition Blu-rays of each film, with cinema packaging and bonus discs, will be the reference objects, and a complete Ufotable Demon Slayer shelf now means seasons and three finale films in matching premium formats. Release dates and contents for later films should always be checked against current announcements, since the trilogy's schedule has been announced in stages.
