What Are the Main Naruto Figure Lines?

Five lines carry the market: S.H.Figuarts (articulated, Bandai), Figuarts ZERO (fixed battle scenes), G.E.M. (MegaHouse 1/8 display figures), Nendoroid (chibi), and the resin statue lines of Tsume and Gecco, with Banpresto prize figures underneath them all.

Naruto figures are an ecosystem of lines, each with a distinct job. Bandai's Tamashii Nations runs the articulated branch: S.H.Figuarts, which has carried Naruto since 2014 with a hiatus and a revival, poses the characters with interchangeable faces and hands at collector prices, and its Figuarts ZERO sibling trades articulation for fixed, effect-heavy battle scenes. The 2024 NARUTOP99 editions, built from Kishimoto's global popularity poll illustrations, show the line still mining the manga's own art.

MegaHouse owns the display branch with G.E.M., its 1/8 scale painted figure line, which began its Naruto run in 2013 and built signature pieces around adult and Hokage-era designs. MegaHouse also made some of the earliest quality Naruto figures: the Collective File DX sets of 2005 and 2006, six pre-timeskip characters that now serve as the vintage anchor of the whole figure shelf.

Above the PVC lines sit the statue makers. Tsume, the Luxembourg studio, produces Naruto in two registers: the smaller X-tra line at 1/10 scale and its large, limited High Quality Statues in resin. Gecco entered in 2014 with 1/6 scale statues built around interchangeable heads and arms. Good Smile's Nendoroid line, from 2017, covers the chibi end with the same characters the statues monumentalize.

How the lines stack

Price and purpose sort the shelf: prize and lottery figures at the base, S.H.Figuarts and Nendoroid in the articulated middle, G.E.M. as the display standard, and Tsume and Gecco statues at the top, produced in limited runs with numbered editions. None of these lines compete directly; they are the same affection expressed at five different budgets, which is why a serious Naruto shelf usually contains several lines at once.

The Kishimoto image trend

The modern lines draw on the manga's art more directly than the 2000s figures did. The NARUTOP99 figures reproduce Kishimoto's poll illustrations in three dimensions, and the Ichiban Kuji Last One recreating the volume 42 cover does the same with a book cover. The trend of the 2020s Naruto figure market is fidelity to specific Kishimoto images, not generic poses.
