What are the Solo Leveling side stories?

A 21-episode epilogue run from 2023, drawn by the DISCIPLES team at REDICE STUDIO after Dubu's death.

When the main webtoon ended in December 2021 the story was not quite finished on the page. Chugong's novel had closed with side stories, an epilogue and the beginnings of the next generation, and those chapters reached the webtoon starting January 21, 2023. The side-story run lasted 21 episodes, ending May 31, 2023, and it introduces Sung Suho, Jinwoo's son, whose sealed powers are the thread the sequel series pulls.

The art is the document of a studio after a loss. With Dubu gone, the side stories were drawn by artists at REDICE STUDIO credited as DISCIPLES, an on-the-page acknowledgment that the studio's younger artists were continuing their teacher's series. The episodes adapt Chugong's prose epilogue, with h-goon again on adaptation, so the words stay close to the novel while the drawings change hands.

In print, the side stories are the final volumes of every comic edition. Korea collected them as volumes 14 and 15, closing the D&C Webtoon Biz run in October 2025, and the English Ize Press edition did the same, labeling its last two books Side Stories 1 and Side Stories 2. A complete comic set in any language ends with DISCIPLES, not Dubu, on the art credit.
