What is Nagasakiya Zelda card No. 45?

The set's poster in miniature: every major figure of Ocarina of Time arranged in one beam of light.

No. 45 is the Nagasakiya set's ensemble piece. Adult Link stands with the Hylian Shield behind young Link, who plays the ocarina inside a beam of light at the centre of the composition. Ganondorf's face looms at the upper left, and Zelda, Sheik, Epona and Hyrule Castle complete a group portrait of the whole game on one card.

Its back is fully documented from this Library's own chase files: No. 45, an item guide panel for the Master Sword, a points value of 092 and five hearts, the top rating the backs give, shared with No. 48.

One point is stated plainly because this page's standard requires it: No. 45's holographic status is not confirmed. The card is sometimes described as a foil, and its painted composition would suit the treatment the set gives its biggest scenes, but no photograph has yet settled the question to the standard of the four confirmed foils.

What is not in doubt is the card's place in the set's inner circle: the ensemble painting, the Master Sword on the back and the five heart rating mark it as one of the cards the set was built around.
