What was the 2007 Enterplay Twilight Princess card set?

America's first Zelda card set of the modern era: 86 cards, three tiers, and a gold foil hiding in roughly every twenty fourth pack.

In 2007 the American company Enterplay brought Zelda back to the card aisle with a set devoted to Twilight Princess. The checklist runs to 86 cards: 50 standard cards, 27 silver foils and 9 gold foils, joined by five temporary tattoo cards.

The pack was a small variety show. Each held three standard cards, sorted by character, enemy and equipment, plus one foil card, one temporary tattoo and a sweepstakes card tied to a Wii giveaway. Enterplay's own figures put a gold foil at roughly one in every twenty four packs. The set was sold in several box formats, including a gravity feed display box made for Target stores.

The gold foils are numbered G1 to G9, a numbering habit Enterplay kept for its 2016 set, which is why a gold card's year has to be read from its back and game, not its number alone.

Artistically the set belongs to the screenshot era: its images come from the game itself rather than from commissioned illustration, which separates these American cards from the painted Japanese sets of 1998 and 1999 documented beside them.
