Where is One-Punch Man published?

On a free website: Tonari no Young Jump, the web offshoot of a print seinen magazine.

The remake has never run in a weekly print magazine. Since June 14, 2012, One-Punch Man has been serialized on Tonari no Young Jump, Shueisha’s free online magazine, the web companion to the print Weekly Young Jump. Chapters there are titled “Punches,” and new ones appear free, on an irregular schedule governed by Murata’s process rather than a weekly deadline.

THE VENUE EXPLAINS THE BOOK

Why the address matters
Digital-first, print second
Online publication is the original; the tankobon are the archive. Every oddity on this shelf, the redraws, the color pages, the three chapter numberings, follows from that one fact about the venue.
A seinen address
Young Jump is a seinen magazine, aimed at adult men, which is why a series with a superhero premise runs office politics, debt, and burnout jokes alongside its fights. The remake kept the webcomic’s tone because its magazine let it.
The announcement trail
The anime was announced in the print magazine: Weekly Young Jump’s 2015 issue 15 carried the news on March 10, 2015. Print and web promoted each other, even though only one of them carried the comic.
Still there
The remake passed 246 online chapters in October 2026, on the same site, under the same arrangement, fourteen years in. Tonari no Young Jump is not where the series started its career. It is the career.
