How did Black Clover end?

With the match the whole series pointed at: Asta against Yuno, for the title of Wizard King.

Black Clover ended on May 1, 2026, in Jump Giga 2026 SPRING, with chapters 390, 391 and 392 published together. Shueisha announced the triple-chapter finale through its Jump Press channel on April 27, 2026. The final story brings the rivalry that opened the series to its deciding match, Asta against Yuno for the Wizard King title, and Asta takes it. The count at the close: 392 chapters across eleven years and two magazines.

The publishing tail was arranged like a farewell tour. On August 4, 2026, the final volume 38 and the Official Guidebook: Complete Grimoire went on sale in Japan on the same day: a 320-page book (¥1,760, about $11) carrying a fifteen-page manga drawn new by Tabata, the first official guidebook since 2018. A digital artbook, Digiga, collecting color art from before serialization, was announced for November 10, 2026. The full shelf is documented in the manga gallery.

This page keeps to the publishing facts of the ending. The road that led there is on the magazine transfer page.
