The disciplined opposite of the Nagasakiya set: known maker, known count, a first card and a last card, and a checklist built like the game — prologue, a character-and-item run, prism centerpieces, finale. Seven prisms are documented by name in graded-market sources (No.1, 3, 5, 21, 38, 39 and the red-and-white checkered No.42 shown here). Boxed-set cards were held together with tight paper bands, and the bands plus 25 years of humidity worked on the survivors — indented edges and scuffed surfaces are this set’s fingerprint.
The safest packaging produced the damage: band pressure is the condition story of the whole set.
A complete 42-card set is a documented market object — collectors can finish this one.
