Every Tales Mothership Title, in Order
Seventeen mothership titles, 1995 to 2021, the full map, with the Western date beside the Japanese one wherever the West got one at all.
Bandai Namco’s own word for its flagship line is mothership titles; everything else is an escort title. The count most often given today is seventeen. Two famous border cases, the DS game Tales of the Tempest (2006) and the Wii sequel Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (2008), are counted with the escort line in the modern tally, and are documented on the escort page of this shelf.

The count itself
Seventeen is the modern mothership tally. Tales of the Tempest (DS, 2006) launched with mothership ambitions before settling into the escort column, and Dawn of the New World is a sequel spin-off. Both are documented on this shelf’s escort page.
