What is Silent Hill 2: Saigo no Uta?

It is the Japanese name of the expanded Silent Hill 2.

Saigo no Uta (最期の詩, roughly "Poem of the Last Moment") is what Japan called the expanded edition of Silent Hill 2. The expansion adds Maria's side scenario, Born from a Wish, and retitles the main story Letter from Silent Heaven.

Japan received it first on Xbox (February 22, 2002), then as the Japanese PlayStation 2 edition on July 4, 2002. The same expanded edition then travelled under a different name in every region it entered, which is why collectors comparing copies keep tripping over it.
